Phil Hall emailed me recently to announce the launch of a unique new sports club, here in the UK.
The reason for starting this four-wheeled 'downhill mountain 'biking' club is so they can get more wheelchair users involved in the sport and promote it nationwide.
They want to raise interest and awareness in this new activity and expand the disabled MTB racing scene.
They are very enthusiastic about this project, and have already contacted various organizations, who have all reacted very positively to these bespoke downhill sports chairs, the disabled racing scene and the club's ambitions.
Their main aim now is to recruit more people to the Rough Riderz Club. They can then build up our list of members and give 'adrenaline junkies' the opportunity to unite, raise interest in our activities and keep everyone informed of developments within the sport.
